General Parents Info

The Parents module may be set to group students from the same family under the one parent code. Here the family and home address details are found. It is here that automatic fees billing takes place. The whole school can be billed for tuition fees and extra charges within minutes. Fees Statements are mailed to parents, and there are many reports, printouts and standard letters, which facilitate the follow-up of overdue fees.

Fees may be billed at any desired frequency. It is possible to bill an extra charge to a specific parent or to a group of parents at once. There is also an option to bill a parent once irrespective of the number of students coming from that family e.g. for a school magazine.
Fees statements may be printed as frequently as required, or selectively from menus. These are statements showing the amount of money a parent has to pay to the school. If a parent has an outstanding balance e.g. from the previous term, it is also be shown and added to the current due to make the total.
Overdue fees are followed up via printouts, graphs or letters, unless changes are requested for.
Address labels can be printed as required.
Family lists include parents and their children at the school.

Like students, parents may also be allocated to user-defined categories e.g. members on the Board of Governors, or to any other association at the school.
